🍺 Georgia Beer Day in Atlanta: Breweries Worth the Hype
Georgia Beer Day (March 07th) isn’t just about drinking beer. It’s about drinking local.
From warehouse taprooms with hip-hop energy to German-inspired precision pours, Atlanta’s brewery scene is layered, experimental, & very much doing its own thing.
Here’s where I’d raise a glass.
My Go-To’s
🍺 Atlantucky Brewing (Castleberry Hill)
Unfiltered & unapologetic. Atlantucky brings hip-hop culture into the taproom with personality-driven brews. It feels like community first, beer second — in the best way.
Black-owned.
🇩🇪 Round Trip Brewing (West Midtown & East Cobb)
Crisp German-style lagers done right. Clean pours, bright space, strong patio energy. Straight out of Munich is def a must-try.
🏡 Little Cottage Brewing (Avondale Estates)
Cozy-core meets creative brewing. Small-batch drops, colorful branding, & a loyal crowd that feels like regulars.
🧊 Halfway Crooks Beer (Summerhill)
Minimalist branding, maximalist precision. European-style lagers that are insanely drinkable. Pro tip: Don’t forget about the Biergarten.
🧘♀️ Community Pick: Hops & Flow Yoga’s Go-To Sips
Because Georgia Beer Day is better when you ask the locals who are actually out here building community.
If you don’t know Hops & Flow Yoga, you should. They blend movement + brewery culture in the best way — bringing yoga into taprooms & making craft beer feel accessible instead of intimidating.
So naturally, I had to ask:
What are you drinking right now?
Here’s what they said:
“My favorite beers right now are Monday Night’s 404. It’s just a classic easy-drinking, no-fluff lager.
When I’m craving a West Coast IPA, give me that clean and hoppy Cloud Killer from Little Cottage.
And when I’m not drinking beer, you can find me imbibing on any Murrell’s Row gin cocktail around town. My go-tos are Kimball House, Wrecking Bar, and Genes Genes.”
